We’d love to welcome you and your child to the Elm St family! We can work with you to get familiar with the Centre and to secure a place for your child.
All parents (or soon-to-be parents) are eligible to join our waitlist and can arrange to come for a visit to our Centre at a time that works for you, whether you'd like your child to join soon or a bit later down the track.

What happens when your spot is secured?
Settling in at Elm St
We know that starting at any early education centre is a big step for both children and their families. At Elm St, we support a gradual settling-in process that helps children become familiar with our environment at their own pace.
Once your enrolment is confirmed, you’re welcome to join us for a series of stay and play sessions. These visits give your child the chance to explore different parts of the day, like indoor and outdoor play, lunch, rest time, music sessions or storytime, while you stay to support them.
There’s no set number of sessions. Some families visit just a couple of times, while others spread visits over a week or two. We’ll work with you to find a rhythm that helps your child feel safe, comfortable and ready to start their new adventures at daycare .
